HHS Cheerleaders Compete @ Wichita Collegiate

On Saturday, Kristen and the rest of the Hartford High School Cheerleaders went to Wichita for a cheering competition.  They performed a dance, cheer, and stunts.  Kristen also performed individually in the "Jumps" category.  She did an awesome job!! I am so proud of her. There were over 200 cheerleaders there to compete.  It was quite an experience for us to watch so I can't imagine how the girls felt actually competing.

Quiz Bowl @ Waverly

On Wednesday, Feb 3rd, Brett and Tyler traveled with rest of the Quiz Bowl Team to Waverly.  They are both competing on the Varsity Team (the only seventh graders).  The first round was against Waverly and the second round was against Hamilton.  Our Varisty team won by only 10 points. The third round was another story. Brett and Tyler were both concerned going into the third round against Reading because Reading had won their rounds by an overwhelming score.  The Varsity team won the round 80-30 and walked away with first place! Tyler and Brett answered all but one of the questions.  Way to go Boys.
